Hey everyone! Today I have a different article for you. It’s about basic pieces every women should own in their wardrobe if you ask me.
Basics are definitely the pieces in a women’s wardrobe that can be worn in every season and to nearly every occasion. Also they are perfect for those „I have nothing to wear“-Days. For example Leather jacket, basic tee and jeans. Perfect classic and basic look. So what basics do you need in your wardrobe? I sum up my 8 basics every women need in their wardrobe. Let’s go:
1. Basic T-Shirt Actually I think every women should one a white, a grey and also a black tee. It’s a basic piece you could throw over and have a simple outfit. Jeans and a basic t-shirt are a good combo, you definitely do not think about this look so much because it always looks good. I love that you can easily wear it on a daily basis but also with a blazer for a more formal look.
2. Jeans The perfect fitted jeans is also an absolute must have basic piece. I think every women should one a perfect blue jeans and also a black one. Because you can create like one million outfits with each one. So 2. is like a 2a for blue jeans and a 2b for black jeans. For finding the perfect jeans it is important to know your body shape. I’m a small girl so high waisted jeans are perfect for me. I’m also obsessed with skinny jeans and I also think they are flattering for my body shape. So if you’re looking for the perfect jeans make sure to know what type of body shape you have and then it’s so much easier to find a jeans that fits to it. Actually their are millions of different jeans shapes so their is also the perfect one for you!
3. Leather Jacket A perfect leather jacket is an ultimate go to piece. If you want to add an edgy touch an outfit, a leather jacket is the perfect piece for it!
4. Striped Shirt This is definitely one pattern that never goes out of style. This shirt can be everything from a basic striped t-shirt, a blouse, a cropped top or even a sweater. And also the color of the stripes totally depends on your personal style. I’m definitely a big fan of a classic black and white striped shirt or also dark blue and white.
5. White Blouse An other classic piece is a white blouse. It definitely counts more to the elegant basic pieces. But it can be dressed elegant, make an casual look more elegant or can also styled edgy with a leather jacket. So it’s also a piece that can be worn in million different ways.
6. Black Blazer Personally I’m not a big blazer fan (as you may already noticed). But I think it’s a piece you should definitely own in your wardrobe. If you need to take an outfit from casual to business you just need to add a black blazer. It also helps the outfit to get a more elegant touch.
7. Trench Coat A trench coat is such a classic piece if you ask me. It’s also a piece that can upgrade an outfit. Trench coats are definitely a more elegant and classic piece in a wardrobe that can put the perfect touch to every look.
8. LBD (Little Black Dress) With the words of Karl Lagerfeld:“One is never over-dressed or underdressed with a Little Black Dress.” It basically sums it up perfectly and I think this dress is a piece of clothes every women fits perfectly.

Love all the 8 pieces, and pretty much have all 🙂 The only thing I’m missing is a trench coat. I used to have one, but it was destroyed in the wash :/
