MONTHLY REVIEW – JULY ’17

EN | Hey everyone! It’s already August, am I the only one how thinks that the time is running super fast this year? But a new month also means that it’s time for another review post.  So let’s go: I finally managed to book some holidays for the end of September! Whoop Whoop! In July, I was basically working all the time, so I’m actually even more excited to travel to Bonn at the end of August to visit some friends. And the beginning of September I’m going to be in Berlin at the Lollapalooza festival. So there is quite some suff happening before I’m going to start with my master degree in the beginning of October.

DE | Hallo meine Lieben! Der Monat ist schon wieder so schnell vergangen und somit ist es auch wieder an der Zeit für einen neuen Review Post. Bin ich die Einzige die das Gefühl hat, das dieses Jahr nur so verfliegt? Aber ich habe es im Juli endlich geschafft Urlaub für Ende September zu buchen und ihr könnt euch gar nicht vorstellen wie sehr ich mich darauf freue! Im Moment habe ich wirklich extrem Fernweh. Da ich im Juli eigentlich die ganze Zeit zu Hause war und gearbeitet habe, freue ich mich umso mehr im August ein Wochenende lang nach Bonn zu fahren um Freunde zu besuchen. Anfang September geht es dann auch erstmal noch aufs Lollapalooza nach Berlin. Es ist also noch einiges geplant bevor ich anfange meinen Master zu machen. Ich habe mich im Juli nämlich auch endlich dazu entschieden weiterzustudieren und bin dann ab Oktober wieder offiziell Studentin.

 

Where at?

EN | July wasn’t a big travel month. I actually had to work a lot at my internship. Besides that I’ve spent a lot time with my friends and also been to a blogger event. It actually was the first blogger event I’ve been invited to here in my hometown. However I’m going to tell you all about it in the next paragraph! I also took a spontaneous cruise with a really good friend of mine. We were just chilling at the steps near the water as we were invited to join a boat tour for free.

DE | Juli war definitiv kein großer Reisemonat. Ich musste viel arbeiten und habe auch sehr viel mit meinen Freunden gemacht. Außerdem war ich noch auf einem Blogger Event hier in meiner Heimat. Es war das erste Blogger Event hier in der Gegend, aber ich werde euch im nächsten Absatz alles darüber erzählen! Ich habe außerdem mit einer sehr guten Freundin eine spontante Bootsfahrt gemacht. Wir saßen auf den Treppen vor der Autostadt die zum Wasser hinführen, als wir gefragt wurden, ob wir nicht mitfahren wollen, da sie eh nicht alle Plätze besetzt bekommen. Ich liebe so spontane Unternehmungen und eine Bootsfahrt bei Sonnenuntergang ist wirklich schön!

Blogger Event – Designer Outlet Wolfsburg

EN | This month I’ve been invited to a Blogger Event from the Designer Outlets Wolfsburg. Sadly I had to work half of the day so I couldn’t join the whole event. We missed all the fun stuff at the Outlet but we managed to take some pictures in a photo truck there later that day. However we were there in time for some coffee and cake at the Deli of the Ritz-Carlton hotel. Typical me always around when there is food and some coffee. I think you guys probably know how much I love the french style. Especially when it comes to interior and fashion! And the interior of the Deli really reminded me of Paris. Maybe not just because of the interior but also because of the macaroons. Besides the delicious sweets and the amazing ice coffee the public relations manager gave us a little tour around the hotel.
All in all was the event really amazing and it was also nice to meet some other bloggers from the region. So thumbs up for such an amazing organisation and such a great event. I can’t wait for the nexr one!

DE | Diesen Monat wurde ich vom Designer Outlets Wolfsburg zu einem Event am vergangenen Freitag eingeladen. Da ich leider nicht den ganzen Tag freinehmen konnte, habe ich einen Teil des Blogger Treffens verpasst. Wie sollte es anders sein, war ich dann pünktlich zu Kaffee und Kuchen im Ritz Carlton Hotel zur Stelle. Ihr wisst ja wie sehr ich den franzsösischen Flair liebe und das kleine Café im Hotel hat mich gedanklich direkt zurück nach Paris gebracht. Anschließend haben wir noch eine Hotelführung bekommen, wo uns unteranderem die „White Suite“ gezeigt wurde. Ich kann euch sagen, sie ist wirklich ein absoluter Traum. Am liebsten wäre ich direkt eingezogen. Als Pendant zur „White Suite“ gibt es ebenfalls eine „Black Suite“ im Hotel.
Generell hat das Ritz Carlton Hotel nicht nur designtechnisch einiges zu bieten! Ein Besuch, selbst wenn es nur für einen Kaffee oder einen Drink an der Bar ist, lohnt sich also auf jeden Fall! Es war auch wirklich schön mal ein paar Blogger-Kolleginnen hier aus der Region kennenzulerne. Zusammenfassend kann man auf jeden Fall sagen, dass das Event wirklich schön war und auch wenn ich nur die Hälfte mitmachen konnte, bin ich sehr dankbar über die Einladung und die tolle Organisation der Mädels vom Designer Outlet Wolfsburg. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf das nächste Event von euch!

EN | Something from my „last month shopping list“ made it to my ‚New In‘ one. My cute yellow sunnies! You obviously all seen them in my monthly review of June and also in my last outfit post. I think they’re the perfect little accessory to make an outfit more special. And I also think they’re a really cute accessory for festival season. Can’t wait to style them for the Lollapalooza festival next month! I’ve also bought some cute earings, which I’m definitely going to show you soon.

DE | Etwas von meiner Shopping Liste aus dem letzten Monat hat es in die New In Kategorie geschafft: meine süße gelbe Sonnenbrille! Ich wette das ist jetzt keine besonders große Überraschung, da ihr sie wahrscheinlich eh schon alle bei meinem letzten Outfitpost gesehen habt. Ich finde sie ist wirklich das perfekte Accessoire zur Festivalzeit und ich kann es kaum erwarten sie auf dem Lollapalooza Festival nächsten Monat auzuführen. Außerdem habe ich mir noch neue Ohrringe gekauft, die ich euch sicherlich auch demnächst zeigen werde.

On my Shooping List

EN | This month isn’t so much on much shopping list, especially not so many clothes. While looking for the best sale pieces online I found this gorgeous embroidered skirt from Mango. However since than I’m wondering if I should buy it or not. What do you think? There are also a few books (yes, books! For those of you how didn’t know that about me already: I love reading books, especially in English). Currently on my list are: the subtle art of not giving a f*ck, crazy rich asians, The Great Gatsby and The Happiness Project. Do you also have some book recommendations for me? I would love the know your suggestions!

DE | Auf meiner Shopping-Liste befinden sich diesen Monat nicht so viele Kleidungsstücke. Beim im Sale stöbern habe ich diesen wunderschönen bestickten Latzrock von Mango gefunden und überlege seitdem ob ich ihn mir bestellen soll oder nicht. Was meint ihr? Außerdem sind noch ein paar Bücher auf meiner Liste (ja, Bücher! Für die unter euch die das noch nciht wussten, ich liebe lesen! Besonders Bücher auf englisch). Im Moment auf meiner Liste sind: the subtle art of not giving a f*ck, crazy rich asians, The Great Gatsby und The Happiness Project. Und habt ihr vielleicht sonst noch gute Buchempfehlungen für mich?
