Hey everyone and happy Sunday! I hope you enjoyed your first days of 2016 and had an amazing New Years Eve. Today I want to share my Outfit Review for 2015 with you. I actually picked out the outfits I like the most and also the ones where a great experience is behind. This review is kind of different to the last one. This time I chose a favorite for each month. Don’t forget to let me know which one of these is your favorite outfit. You can click on the outfits to get directly to the posts about them. So here we go:
I can’t believe that these pictures were taken nearly a year ago. The pictures were actually taken on my old apartment. January was the month I finally moved completely out of my old flat and back home. Until then I always shoot my pictures in front of this wall.
February was the month I started to love high waisted jeans. I bought the jeans at Monki at the beginning of February and have worn them a lot since then. I also needed to learn a lot for university because the exams were just around the corner. So nothing really special happened that month.
The outfit pictures were taken at the Baltic Sea, where I went to in the beginning of April with my boyfriend. I definitely want to go back to the lovely hotel we stayed in, because it was super relaxing. The spa area was so amazing! I wrote a little travel diary about it, that you can read here if you want to.
At the end of may I turned 20 and I finally got a better lens for my camera. I was so upset with the quality of my pictures that it was time for something better and something new. I’m still happy with the lens and it was definitely a good birthday present.
At the end of June I finally moved into my new flat. Also the Amaze App was launched where you can shop outfits from your favorite Bloggers, including me (and my style). If you want to know more about the app you can check out this article.
The weather was still amazing, so I was spending a lot of time outside. August was also the month I started to wear culottes. Actually I’m more the jeans type of a girl but the moment I tried these one at Zara I totally fell in love. I think from time to time you just need to try out some clothes outside your comfort zone to involve your own style. I’m still totally in love with culottes and definitely want to get another one this year.
In September I finally had time to travel again. I went to the Lake Garda. It’s such a beautiful place and I highly recommend it to everyone who wasn’t there already. Also at the end of September I went to a Hugo Boss Event in Düsseldorf with one of my best friends. Sadly we don’t have the photos yet (I think we’re not going to get them) but one picture of the evening is in the December Issue of the German Elle.
In October the weather got a bit colder for a short time and so I could finally wear my beloved turtleneck sweater again. This outfit was actually posted on the Instagram Account of Lookbook.nu! You can’t believe how amazing this was for me, I still can’t believe that a Instagram page with one million followers posted a picture of me. I also bought my suede skirt that month and I hope you’re not tired of seeing so many different looks with it, because I’m still totally in love with it.
This outfit is probably my favorite one of the whole year. I’m still so in love with my grey long coat, which I got in cooperation with SheIn. First of all I was super skeptical about the quality but this coat is amazing. But I still think you should read a lot of reviews if you’re ordering some (no-high quality) products at the internet.
I already told you that this was the month a picture of me (and one of my best friends) appeared in a magazine. This was actually one of the most amazing things that happened to me this year. I actually found myself in the December issue of the German Elle. You can read more about it in my Black, Grey and Elle-Post. Of course I also celebrated Christmas and also New Years Eve with my family and loved ones this month.
I definitely learned this year to become more self confident and to try out a lot more when it comes to fashion and also involving your own style. When I look at pictures of 2014 I really think that my style changed and involved. I definitely want to try out more when it comes to fashion this year and also wants to travel more. A little trip to Berlin for this month is already booked. At the end of this post I really want to thank you all so much for reading my blog and supporting me! I can’t wait for everything that’s going to happen in 2016. Have a wonderful year! Lots of Love, Jeany.
