EN | Directly after all the exams at university I traveled to Berlin for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to visit three shows (actually two but we won a third invitation thanks to Mercedes Benz for the Irene Luft Show) and the HashMAG Blogger Lounge. Because of the Irene Luft Show we actually didn’t have a lot of time at the Blogger Lounge so I can’t tell you so much about it. However the location was really nice and all the brands there were really interesting. It’s always nice to go to these kind of events to get to know new brands and also the people behind a brand. So this post is actually all about the shows and new collections. But let’s start at the beginning.
DE | Direkt nach der Prüfungsphase in der Uni ging es für mich nach Berlin zur Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Auf dem Programm standen diesmal drei Fashion Shows (eigentlich zwei aber wir haben von Mercedes Benz noch Karten für die Irene Luft Show bekommen) und die HashMAG Blogger Lounge. Da wir aufgrund der Irene Luft Show leider nur mega wenig Zeit für die Blogger Lounge hatten kann ich euch gar nicht so viel über das Event erzählen. Die Location war wie immer mega süß und es waren auch mal wieder viele tolle und interessante Marken vor Ort. Es ist wirklich immer schön zu Events zu gehen, wo man neue Marken und auch die Gesichter hinter den Firmen kennenlernen kann. In diesem Post möchte ich euch also die ganzen Bilder von den Shows zeigen und euch ein wenig über die neuen Kollektionen erzählen. Aber lasst uns von Anfang an beginnen.
EN | Fashion Week Season started for us (Julia from juliymars.com and me) last Tuesday when we went to Berlin. Fashion Week always mean collecting new inspiration and also meeting so many new people but also seeing some friends again. Before the first show (Ewa Herzog) Mercedes Benz asked as to take a seat in their Hot Seat. The Hot Seat is all about answering a few questions about yourself and fashion in the new G-Class. The best thing about it is that you could win a invitation for another fashion show. What we actually did! So thanks to them we had the chance to attend the Irene Luft show, where we actually were on the waiting list. So you can imagine how amazing it was to actually go to the show. The show was definitely my highlight but I’m going to tell you more about it further down.
DE | Letzte Woche Dienstag ging es für uns (Julia von juliymars.com und mich) dann also nach Berlin. Fashion Week heißt für mich immer viele Inspirationen zu sammeln und auch neue Leute kennenzulernen wie natürlich auch bekannte Gesichter wieder zutreffen. Direkt vor der ersten Show (Ewa Herzog) wurden wir von Mercedes Benz angesprochen um bei deren Hot Seat mitzumachen. In der neuen G-Klasse konnte man dann ein kleines Interview absolvieren und anschließend Karten für eine Show gewinnen. Da wir sowieso bei Irene Luft auf der Warteliste standen und ihre Show ein absolutes Highlight war (weiter unten mehr dazu) haben wir uns natürlich umso mehr gefreut ausgerechnet für ihre Show Karten zu gewinnen.
Ewa Herzog
EN | The Ewa Herzog show was definitly a little highlight for me. I’m a huge fan of the designs and collections of Ewa Herzog so you can guess how happy I was to finally attempt her show. The main focus of the collection was lace and transparent pieces. So the whole collection was really feminine an elegant. My favorite piece was a nude lace jumper with a high neck. I also really liked the main colors of the collection which were dark red, beige, nude and black.
DE | Die Show von Ewa Herzog war für mich ein kleines Highlight. Ich liebe die Kollektionen und Designs von Ewa Herzog, also könnt ihr euch sicherlich vorstellen wie sehr ich mich gefreut habe die Show zu sehen. Die Kollektion war geprägt von Spitze und durchsichtigen Stoffen. Sprich sehr feminine und elegant. Besonders gut hat mir ein Pullover mit Stehkragen aus Spitze in Nude gefallen. Die Farben der gesamten Kollektion waren sehr gedeckte Töne und wurde definiert von beige, nude, weinrot und schwarz.
Cashmere Victim
EN | The second show of the day was Cashmere Victim, who showed their collection for the first time at the Mercedes Benz Fashion week. The collection was, as the initiation itself, really colorful and the main colors were red and orange as well as turquoise and purple. I actually liked the design of the invitation so much that I had to take a picture of it for Instagram (haha, I guess that really screams blogger). The whole collection was also all about tropical prints.
DE | Die zweite Show des Tages war Cashmere Victim, welche das erste Mal auf der Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin gezeigt wurde. Die Kollektion war, wie die Einladung selbst, sehr farbenfroh und besonders von rot und orange sowie türkis und lila Tönen geprägt. Das Design der Einladung hat mir übrigens so gut gefallen, dass ich erstmal direkt ein Foto für Instagram machen musste (irgendwie typisch Blogger kann das sein). Des Weiteren wurden die Designs der Kollektion von tropischen Prints dominiert.

EN | My personal highlight of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: the IRENE LUFT SHOW! I actually think that I took a picture of nearly every look of the collection. The collection was dominated by lace and transparent fabrics in combination with leather. So the perfect mix of edgy and feminine aka totally my taste.

DE | Mein ganz persönliches Highlight der Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: die IRENE LUFT SHOW! Ich glaube ich habe wirklich von fast jedem Look ein Foto gemacht, da alles genau meinen Geschmack getroffen hat. Die Kreationen aus Spitze und durchsichtigen Stoffen wurden kombiniert mit Lederapplikationen oder Kleidungsstücken. Also die perfekte Mischung aus edgy und feminine.
